Northwest ISD is offering drive-thru COVID-19 PCR testing at the Old Texan Fieldhouse beginning Oct. 6, according to a press release from the district.
The testing is the result of Northwest ISD partnering with GeneIQ, a molecular diagnostics lab that will administer the tests, the release stated. COVID-19 testing is available for staff, families, students and community members.
According to the release, the testing is taking place in the parking lot in front of Old Texan Fieldhouse, located at 2156 Texan Drive in Justin. Those who want to be tested need to enter through the intersection of Texan Drive and SH 114, next to Northwest ISD Stadium, and exit through the traffic light at the SH 114 and Harriet Creek Drive intersection.
The COVID-19 testing is taking place from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays, the release stated. However, it will close at 5 p.m. on days the Northwest ISD Stadium is hosting a game.
