Keller chamber, screen printing store partner to support business community

After recent successes with the Community Curbside Giveback and Keep Calm Carry Out campaigns, the Greater Keller Chamber of Commerce is finding new ways to continue its support for the local business community.

The chamber is now partnering with local screen printing and embroidery store Keller Trophy & Awards, 425 N. Main St., Keller, to sponsor a t-shirt fundraiser.

The t-shirts feature the slogan, “Eat Local. Shop Local. Spend Local. Enjoy Keller,” and will include logos and names of nearly 40 businesses and individuals in the Keller community.

“We wanted to do something to help out our business community,” said JoAnn Malone, president of the Greater Keller Chamber of Commerce. “The money raised from this is being put into our campaign to reopen Keller. The chamber is going to be putting together a lot of activities, events and promotions as we come out of this.”

The chamber’s primary goal is to support Keller businesses, Malone said. Chamber members should not hesitate to contact staff if they are in need, she said.

“Eat local, shop local, spend local, enjoy Keller” t-shirts are available for purchase here.

T-shirts cost $20 each and are 100% cotton. There is no limit on the number of t-shirts a person or business can order.

The deadline to order is April 15, and t-shirts will be available for pickup at the Greater Keller Chamber of Commerce, 420 Johnson Road, Ste. 301, Keller, beginning April 24.

“More than ever, we want to make sure people eat local, shop local, spend local and enjoy Keller,” Malone said.
