Cane Island announces addition of 152 homesites

The Katy master-planned community of Cane Island has opened three new sections of its popular 50-foot homesites. The sections will bring 152 additional three-, four- and five-bedroom family homes from David Weekley Homes and Perry Homes.

“The 50-foot homesites are among our top sellers,” says Lawren Eckhardt, Cane Island director of marketing. “They provide buyers with the ability to design a large family room on a smaller, more affordable footprint.”

David Weekley homes will start in the $349,000s while Perry homes are priced from the $370,000s, respectively. New move-in ready homes from both builders will become available this fall.

The new homesites will offer single-story and two-story floor plans with features such as an island kitchen, a media room, a flex space for private or semiprivate home office settings, and an outdoor entertaining space.

The community is within Katy ISD and will feed students into Bryant Elementary, Katy Junior High and Katy High schools. Community amenities include Cane Quarter, which has a yoga studio with on-demand classes, a two-story fitness center, a lap pool, a lagoon-style family pool with cabanas and a children’s water playground. Cane Quarter also is home to The Oaks Kitchen & Bar.
