With the goal of supporting working families, Harris County Precinct 4 will launch free after-school programming at several community centers across the precinct, including in the Katy and Cypress areas.
The details
Through a partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston, area students can participate in programming at three local community centers every Mon.-Fri. from 3-6 p.m., beginning on Sept. 3, an official from Precinct 4 Commissioner Lesley Briones’ office said.
“The partnership will enable the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Houston to extend their reach to families who need support, allowing them to identify and address the specific needs of the youth in those communities,” the official said.
