Harris County Smokehouse’s Katy location has fired up its grills for the last time.

A Harris County Smokehouse spokesperson told Community Impact via Facebook messenger the Chambers family has owned the breakfast and barbecue restaurants for 36 years, making the decision to close the Katy location “tough.”
The restaurant, which was open seven days a week, offered various breakfast and barbecue options, including smokehouse meat breakfast combos and barbecue plates, according to its website.
