1.Greenbusch Road Widening
Greenbusch Road will be widened over a 1.3-mile distance between Gaston Road and Westheimer Parkway. The existing two-lane asphalt road will be replaced with a four-lane concrete boulevard with underground storm drains on one side. Timeline: second quarter 2017-second quarter 2018 Cost: $7.5 million Funding sources: Fort Bend County, assorted residential developers
2. Gaston Road Widening
Gaston Road will be widened over a 1.7-mile distance between Greenbusch and Katy Flewellen roads. The existing two-lane asphalt road will be replaced with a four-lane concrete boulevard with underground storm drains on one side. Timeline: second quarter 2017-second quarter 2018 Cost: $7.9 million Funding sources: Fort Bend County
3. Morton Road improvements
A 1-mile section of Morton Road between Katy Hockley Cut Off Road and Avenue D in the city of Katy will be widened from two to four lanes. Part of the project consists of replacing existing above-ground drainage ditches with curbs and gutters. City Administrator Byron Hebert said the project’s main purpose is to help with traffic as well as to relieve flooding.
Timeline: April 2016-April 2017
Cost: $7.563 million
Funding sources: Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County

Spring Green Roundabout[/caption]
4. Spring Green Roundabout
A four-legged roundabout will be constructed connecting the two existing segments of Spring Green Boulevard as well as Cinco Trace Drive and Katy Flewellen Road. In addition to constructing the two-lane, one-way roundabout, Cinco Trace Drive will be extended 144 feet from its current endpoint to the roundabout. Katy Flewellen Road will be connected from its current endpoint 450 feet to the roundabout. The existing north and south segments of Spring Green Boulevard will be extended a total of 1,380 feet from their current endpoints to the roundabout.
