Transportation update: Morton Road to be widened in Katy — Plans area in place for the roadway between Katy Hockley and Pitts roads to be widened in 2025, according to the city engineer. (Courtesy Canva)

Plans are in place for Morton Road in Katy to be widened between Katy Hockley and Pitts roads in 2025 after projects are completed on the adjacent roads in 2024, City Engineer David Kasper said.

Timeline: 2025-TBD

Cost: $7.6 million

Funding source: Katy Development Authority
