Project: The project will reconstruct First through Fifth streets from FM 359 to Wallis Street.
Update: The project is 70% complete with design, although the beginning of construction hinges on the timeline of the Wallis Street reconstruction.
Project: The 26-mile extension from south Sugar Land to Hwy. 288 near Rosharon aims to improve commute times for residents.
Update: At a May 14 meeting, Fort Bend County commissioners voted to give the Texas Department of Transportation primacy on Segments C1 and C2, as well as the unbuilt portion of Segment D of the Grand Parkway project.
