Why are you running for office?
I’m running for office because our community deserves leadership that actually listens, tells the truth and shows up. I believe government should work for everyday people, not special interests or the elite, and I’m ready to do the work to make Texas safer, fairer and more accountable for everyone.
What are your qualifications for why you’d be a strong candidate in this role?
I’m a Fort Bend County native with degrees and experience in business, healthcare, public administration and education. That background gives me a clear, practical understanding of our community’s needs. I’m running to lead with integrity and work for a Texas where everyone can thrive, not just survive.
If elected, what will be your top priorities?
My top priorities are strong public schools, affordable healthcare and economic stability. I’ll focus on lowering costs, expanding access to essential services and ensuring government is transparent, accountable and responsive to the people. By listening to, and investing in, the community, we can make government work better for everyone.
What are the biggest challenges facing this district and how do you plan to address these issues?
The biggest challenges are affordability, safety, education and healthcare access. My plan is to work collaboratively with the community, invest in prevention and opportunity and push for practical policies that help families stay safe, healthy and financially secure, while strengthening trust and accountability in government.
What projects are most important for the legislature to focus on for the future of Texas?
The legislature should focus on strengthening public education, expanding healthcare access, improving disaster preparedness, modernizing infrastructure and investing in workforce development. These projects ensure Texas can grow responsibly while keeping families safe, communities resilient and the economy strong for future generations across urban, suburban, and rural communities statewide for all.
What do you see as the greatest challenge for Texas in the next 5 years?
Rapid growth is Texas’s greatest challenge. Without thoughtful planning, it strains schools, healthcare, infrastructure, housing and public safety. Over the next five years, we need responsible leadership focused on affordability, smart infrastructure investment, disaster resilience, workforce readiness and long-term solutions that keep communities livable, safe and economically strong.
