Lamar CISD’s Child Nutrition Department will serve free breakfast and lunch for children 18 years and younger during the summer.
What you need to know
LCISD staff will serve meals Mondays through Thursdays across nine sites from early June to mid-July, according to the department’s Facebook page. Summer meal sites will not be open on Fridays.
Also of note
LCISD officials said parents are not able to purchase meals and are required to have a form of identification to be permitted into the buildings.
On the days when the summer meal sites will be closed, families can reach out to nonprofit Lunches of Love for additional services.
