Tomball ISD announced that all schools and offices would be closed Feb. 4 due to winter weather, according to a district statement.

The district canceled extracurricular activities Feb. 3 and is monitoring whether extracurricular activities Feb. 4 and Feb. 5 will take place. The school district is set to reopen Feb. 7.

The district remained open for a full school day Feb. 3 but encouraged parents to "assist with a prompt dismissal" to get students and staff home safely.

Feb. 4's missed day will not be made up due to extra minutes built into the calendar, the district said.
