Montgomery County Precinct 2 Commissioner Charlie Riley said as of early February, the county is finalizing details to improve the intersection of Hardin Store Road and Hwy. 249 to transition more smoothly into Decker Prairie Road. Riley said the county is purchasing right of way and expects plans to be finalized within 30-45 days of Feb. 8 so the project can go into the design phase.
