1. Masones Pub & Grill opened in its new location at 24441 Hwy. 249, Tomball, on April 23. Originally located on Louetta Road in Cypress, the establishment offers daily drink specials and a happy hour from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Food offerings include various appetizers, wings, flatbreads, Tex-Mex plates and sliders. 2. An AT&T store owned and operated by Optimum Wireless opened April 30 at 18640 FM 1488, Magnolia. 3. Owner Jon Farley opened a Pinehurst location of ZTERS Site Services on April 19 at 34910 Circle Lake Drive, Pinehurst. The company specializes in nationwide construction site rentals and commercial waste services. The Pinehurst field office is home to the company’s fleet of roll-off dumpsters, trucks, temporary fencing and a dedicated team for the Houston area. 4. Todd’s Auto Repair officially opened in its new location at 32000 Hwy. 249, Pinehurst, on April 1. The shop hosted a grand opening March 27. Born and raised in Montgomery County, Beth Marshall graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in communication and a minor in business. Originally hired as a reporter for The Woodlands edition in 2016, she became editor of the Sugar Land/Missouri City edition in October 2017.
Anna joined Community Impact in 2016 and is the editor of the Tomball-Magnolia and Conroe-Montgomery editions. She previously was a reporter for the Tomball-Magnolia edition. Prior to CI, Anna graduated with a degree in journalism from Cedarville University in Ohio where she served as editor-in-chief of Cedars. She also interned with the National Journalism Center in Washington, D.C., the Springfield News-Sun and Xenia Daily Gazette. Outside of work, Anna enjoys snuggling her dogs, Opie and Luna, baking or reading.
