Mobile food truck Señor Burrito Company opened for business in Tomball on Aug. 5. Located in 403 Eats at 403 E. Main St., Tomball, the Southern California-based eatery serves authentic Mexican fare, such as street tacos, burritos and carne asada fries, among other items. NOW OPEN: Frost Bank Tomball Financial Center opens on FM 2920

A Frost Bank Tomball Financial Center opened on FM 2920 on Aug. 10, according to a press release.

Located at 14310 FM 2920, Tomball, the center offers financial services, such as banking, investments and insurance for consumers and business clients. Lobby services are available by appointment with respect to social distancing measures. The location also features motor bank drive-up lanes and a Smart ATM.

“We’re proud to bring this financial center to our new neighbors in Tomball,” Frost Houston Region President David Le Pori said in a statement. “It’s a place the area can be proud of, and it will serve the needs of a rapidly growing community.”

COMING SOON: New brewery from former Karbach Brewing Co. brewmaster Chris Juergen

Chris Juergen, brewmaster at Houston's Karbach Brewing Co., has plans to break ground on a brewery and restaurant in his hometown of Tomball by year's end, the Tomball Economic Development Corp. announced Aug. 11, as previously reported by Community Impact Newspaper.

"As a hometown boy, I am thrilled to bring this project to Tomball. The staff and board of the TEDC have been completely supportive since day one," Juergen said in the release. "Tomball is a place that fits this project and allows us to be a part of a welcoming community. We want to start by focusing hyper-local and doing that in Tomball makes sense."


COMING SOON: Just Love Coffee Cafe coming soon to Tomball

Tomball residents Tamara and Jon Hamilton will open Just Love Coffee Cafe at 13727 Sunset Canyon Drive, Ste. 400, Tomball, in October. The neighborhood cafe will offer hand-roasted coffees and a full menu, including breakfast, lunch and dinner items, ranging from soup and salad to wraps and desserts, Tamara said. Many of the cafe's menu items are "waffleized," meaning omelets, cinnamon rolls, biscuits and gravy, and other dishes are cooked in a waffle iron, she said. www.justlovecoffecafe.com/tomball
