What you need to know
The town hall will run from 5-7 p.m. at the First Baptist Church Tomball-Fellowship Hall and will allow attendees the opportunity to learn about the project and redevelopment goals, according to the TEDC's website.
According to the website, attendees will also have the opportunity to:
- Review visual concepts and preliminary ideas for the site
- Engage in a Q&A with project representatives
- Share thoughts and feedback to help guide the transformation process
The TEDC purchased the 4.63-acre First Baptist Church property in April 2023, as previously reported.
At the time of purchasing the property, the TEDC had no immediate plans for the church campus; however, now the facility is proposed to be a community center with facilities to increase entertainment, arts and culture amenities, according to the Tomball Comprehensive Plan.
