Tomball will host an open house for its comprehensive plan update from 6-8 p.m. Jan. 30 at the Tomball Community Center, according to a notice posted on the city’s website.

What you need to know

At the public meeting, residents can expect a formal presentation about the comprehensive plan update along with the opportunity to provide input about the future of Tomball, according to the city’s announcement. There will also be an opportunity to meet the project’s team.

Additionally, residents are being encouraged to fill out the city’s online survey, which launched in November, Community Impact previously reported. The survey includes questions like:

  • What residents think the biggest priorities for Tomball should be
  • What residents’ favorite developments are and why
  • The types of housing residents think Tomball needs more of
  • What residents see the future of transportation in the city looking like

The online survey is set to close Feb. 4, according to the public meeting notice.
