At its regular meeting Dec. 10, Tomball ISD trustees approved new high school boundaries for the 2026-2027 school year. The new boundaries are set to coincide with the district's newest high school, Tomball West, opening next August.

The context

This will be the third and final part of TISD’s district rezoning process. The district's efforts for boundary redesign began in October 2023.

The high school attendance zones will only affect ninth and 10th grades, and not 11th and 12th grades, as previously reported.

According to district estimations, TWHS will have a student enrollment of 843 in its first year.
