In less than one month, Magnolia ISD schools will welcome students for the 2025-26 school year. Keep reading for need-to-know information ahead of the first day of school Aug. 11.

A quick note

The bell schedule will be:
  • Doors open at 7:55 a.m. for pre-K and elementary schools and 7:30 a.m. for intermediate and junior high schools.
  • School begins at 8:40 a.m. for pre-K and elementary schools, 8 a.m. for intermediate and junior high schools and 7:15 a.m. for high schools.
  • The school day ends at 3:55 p.m. for pre-K and elementary schools, 3:15 p.m. for intermediate and junior high schools and 2:30 p.m. for high schools.
First steps

Online registration will need to be completed for new students, including those in pre-K and kindergarten. Registration requirements and required documents can be found here. Step-by-step instructions can be found here.

According to MISD’s website, the required documents for student registration are:
  • Official birth certificate
  • Social security card if available
  • Immunization record
  • Proof of address
  • Parent/guardian picture ID
Parents and guardians of returning students will need to verify student enrollment through the Frontline Parent Portal beginning in late July.
