McDonald’s is now open near the FM 1488 and Spur 149 intersection in Magnolia, said Elizabeth Machuca, marketing coordinator for the Glaser-Swift Organization, via email.

“The Glaser-Swift Organization has had McDonald's all over in the Houston area, Spring and Tomball,” Machuca said. “They thought it was time to grow and introduce themselves in the Magnolia community.”

McDonald’s is a franchise that serves burgers, fries and shakes, Machuca said.

“The Glaser-Swift Organization is proud to be a member of the Magnolia community,” Machuca said. “We are excited to grow just as Magnolia continues to expand.”

The location will host a grand opening event on March 23 that will feature the McDonald’s red shoe car and characters such as Grimace and Hamburglar, Machuca said.
