“I would like to thank the Tomball community for trusting and supporting my restaurant where we strive to provide the highest quality of food and customer service,” Mendoza said.
How it happened
Mendoza, who said he is originally from Veracruz, Mexico, started working in the restaurant industry as a busser, cook and waiter.
When the opportunity to open his own business arose, Mendoza decided to use his experience to open a restaurant in Tomball because he wanted to be with the community he grew up in, he said.
Mendoza said the fast and efficient service found at Margaritas and Fajitas makes his restaurant unique. He said his goal as a restaurant owner is to not only provide exceptional service but to make his customers feel at home.
In the near future, he said he hopes to expand his existing location to a larger location with a larger clientele.
What's on the menu?
Margaritas and Fajitas serves a combination of Tex-Mex and authentic Mexican food with ingredients made from scratch. A restaurant specialty includes “El Ranchero,” a plate served with an enchilada, a tamale, a crispy taco, guacamole, and rice and beans with a cheese puff on the side.
The restaurant also has a full bar and serves a variety of beer and wine options as well as its famous “Margaritas De Casa.”
