Chick N Max has signed a lease for a new eatery at 10060 Research Forest Drive, Magnolia, as of late April. The franchise specializes in almond wood-smoked chicken and wings, sandwiches, and tenders.

In September, the fast-casual franchise announced plans to expand from Wichita, Kansas, and add 25 restaurants in the Greater Houston area through a development agreement with Aaron Johnson. Additional Houston-area locations include Willis—the eatery's first expansion into the Houston area that opened May 8—and Fulshear, which is expected to open in the third quarter of this year.

Construction has not begun on the Magnolia location, but it is expected to open in the late fourth quarter of 2023, according to a media representative of the company.
