Audubon, a master-planned community in Magnolia, revealed design plans for Club Audubon—a 5.5-acre recreation complex in the community at 40001 Audubon Parkway, Magnolia—in an Aug. 23 news release.

A construction and opening timeline were not available as of publication.

The details

The master-planned community is located between Hwy. 249 and FM 1488. These are the amenities Club Audubon has planned for residents, according to the release:
  • Swimming pool with a covered pavilion
  • Clubhouse
  • Shaded gathering yard and green space
  • Food truck lane
  • 8-foot-wide walking/biking trail
Looking back

Club Audubon will be part of the 706-acre Audubon Park District, a system of parks within the master-planned community. Legacy Park is another one of the parks that opened last year and includes:
  • Playground with tree swings
  • Covered bench swings
  • Picnic tables
  • Bird and butterfly habitats
Another park already open in Audubon is Screech Park, located in the Creekside North District, according to the release. This park consists of a screech owl habitat.


In other news

According to the release, a portion of Club Audubon will border the estimated $41 million Audubon Elementary School, which is projected to open in August 2024 as part of Magnolia ISD.
