Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital is planning to double the size of its Tomball Primary Group clinic and open an emergency care center in Magnolia in a series of expansions expected to be completed in 2023, according to Stefanie Peeler, the senior communications specialist for the hospital.

In Tomball, the Primary Group clinic will double its size to add specialists to the existing roster of primary care physicians. The new specialists and services will include primary care sports medicine and rotating orthopedic surgeon specialists, X-ray services, rotating neurology and cardiology specialists, and mammogram and bone density screenings, Peeler said. The clinic is expected to open in summer 2023.

In Magnolia, the hospital has plans to open an emergency care center on the first floor of the Magnolia Landmark Building at 18230 FM 1488, Magnolia, in early 2023, Peeler said.

“We currently operate a large primary care clinic on the third floor of this building, which will provide for great alignment and expansion of service offerings,” Peeler said.

The emergency care clinic will provide traditional emergency services and outpatient imaging.
