A 67-acre, 220-home community named Ellerden is under development by the Pulte Group in western Tomball, said Lee Jones, vice president of land acquisition for Pulte Group. The development is on the western side of Cypress-Rosehill Road less than a mile north of the Grand Parkway.

Jones said lots will be ready for homes to be built by April 2023, with home sales projected for the second half of 2023. He said pricing is not available at this time.

The development is directly north of Tomball ISD’s Elmer & Dorothy Beckendorf Educational Complex, which contains Grand Oaks Elementary School, Grand Lakes Junior High School and the district’s new 10,000-seat stadium. The elementary school opened in September 2020, while the junior high and stadium opened in August 2021, Community Impact Newspaper previously reported.
