Dkota Investment Inc. purchased 4 acres on South Persimmon Road, Tomball, in the Tomball Business and Technology Park, according to a Nov. 28 press release. Bimbo Bakeries USA will occupy the 20,000 square-foot office and warehouse distribution facility slated for the sight.
Bimbo Bakeries USA's brands include Sara Lee, Thomas', Nature's Harvest and Mrs. Baird's, according to the company's
website.
This project is anticipated to create 14 full-time jobs and approximately $375,000 in net benefits over a 10-year period once the facility is operational in 2019, according to Kelly Violette, executive director of the Tomball Economic Development Corporation.
The Tomball Business and Technology Park, a project of the Tomball Economic Development Corporation, spans almost 100 acres of land near Hufsmith-Kohrville Road and Holderrieth Road. Bimbo Bakeries USA will join Packers Plus and SUEZ Water Technologies & Solutions as another tenant of the park.
