Magnolia ISD pushed its graduation ceremonies back a week from May 23 to May 30, the district announced on its Facebook page March 26. Amid closures and cancellations from the coronavirus outbreak, the district's graduation ceremonies previously scheduled for May 23 at Texas A&M University's Reed Arena were rescheduled to May 30 at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands, according to the announcement.

The announcement follows a March 25 announcement from Tomball ISD Superintendent Martha Salazar-Zamora that TISD's graduation ceremonies planned for May 30 at Reed Arena have been postponed indefinitely, although the district hopes to celebrate the class of 2020 at a later date.

Times and details of MISD's rescheduled ceremonies were not available before publication.

District facilities are closed through at least April 10 with area superintendents re-evaluating the decision to resume on-campus activities April 6, MISD Superintendent Todd Stephens previously said.
