FINS Swim School CEO Liam Goudeket said swimming is a life skill that should be taught to children at a young age to avoid accidents. It’s also a skill that requires consistent practice to prevent regression. “Drowning is the number one cause of accidental death for children under 5, so we saw a need in the community and an opportunity as a business,” he said.

Joey Jamison said he was reminded of his faith in 2019 after a multiple-vehicle accident left him nearly immobile, leaving his vertebrae shattered in five places and his faith shaken. A year into his recovery, still battling excruciating pain, he turned to prayer and asked God for healing. By morning, Jamison said the pain was miraculously gone. He said his experience renewed his faith and reshaped his purpose. Today, he owns Chosen Farm and Sawmill, a sawmill company founded in 2022 that transforms discarded trees into handcrafted furniture, using the proceeds to help those in need while dedicating his days to worship and gratitude.
