Husband and wife Andrew and Jerrica George said they have plans to open a new Sharkey's Cuts for Kids location in Magnolia early next year.

According to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the new Magnolia location will be located in an existing 1,200-square-foot building.

In addition to the Magnolia location, owners Andrew and Jerrica George said they are opening another location in Conroe on Dec. 6 and look forward to catering to children of all ages including children with autism and special needs in the community.

“We wanted to bring this service to our community so that people won’t have to drive far for a special kid haircut experience and we are so proud to bring a brand with amazing stylists to the community,” Jerrica George said.

Franchise owners Andrew and Jerrica George said a portion of all haircuts will be donated to three local nonprofits which are soon to be selected.

Sharkey's Cuts for Kids offers haircuts for children ages 0-14 while providing an entertaining experience with seats designed for kids that include options such as a Dodge police cruiser, Barbie Jeep, "Frozen" Jeep, Lightning McQueen race car and a Buzz Lightyear-themed seat.
