"We wanted to to expand our reach in the community and offer lessons in the areas where there weren't any classes really being offered," he said in a phone interview. "We were busting at the seams at our original Woodlands location, so we finally decided to open another school in The Woodlands but make it close to other markets that needed our services as well. We're excited to be over there."
The local, family-owned business offers swim lessons from infants to adults of all levels of swimming. According to the business website, programs include parent/child classes, intro to swim and safety, advanced swim and safety, teens and adults, and competitive swim.
Goudeket said the majority of classes are private, 1-on-1 lessons, which last approximately 20 minutes.
"This is one of the things that makes us stand out against other swim schools," he said. "Our classes aren't scheduled in groups. We really take time to do private lessons with all our customers."
Private lessons start at $35. Goudeket said residents can begin enrolling in classes at the new location. The new school will host a grand opening June 10. www.swimatfins.com
