Light of Mine Speech Therapy, located at 1002 Village Square Drive, Ste. B4, Tomball, opened March 1, owner Angelica Adame said via email.

“I chose to open Light of Mine Speech Therapy because I have a heart for children and would like to help them express themselves freely with their loved ones,” Adame said. “Being a former teacher, I’m also big into literacy and hope to spark their love for reading.”

The business offers speech therapy services for patients up to 21 years old that focus on articulation, language, fluency and literacy skills, Adame said.

“Bilingual therapy is offered for those who speak English and Spanish,” Adame said. “We also visit children who are in local private schools, day cares and [applied behavior analysis] centers.”

Adame said Light of Mine Speech Therapy accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance and private pay, and is working on getting in network with other insurance companies.
