The Weird Sister Boutique and Social Room, located at 401 1/2 Commerce St., Tomball, opened a new addition to the boutique Feb. 10. The social room is a full-service cocktail bar with specialty drinks including espresso martinis and smoked old fashioneds. The boutique offers a place to shop for clothing, gifts and accessories.

Owner Christina Mendoza said she decided to add the new social room to the business so Tomball residents could have a good spot to have after hours drinks without dinner.

"We wanted it to be a good place for people to meet, drink and hang out," she said. "People were surprised that we had more than wine and beer, and they love the atmosphere and our outdoor patio."

The Weird Sister Boutique and Social Room is open Thursday-Sunday. The social rooms stays open Friday-Saturday until midnight. A grand opening is planned tentatively for March. 281-900-3619. www.facebook.com/TheWeirdSisterBoutique
