The race begins at 7 a.m. with the One 4 Texas Kids' Fun Run and is followed by the 3.1 Armadillo Run 5K, 10-Mile Wheelchair Division Race and the 10 for Texas, with an awards ceremony at 9:30 a.m., according to information from the township.
What you need to know
The inside lane of several streets will be closed from 6-10:30 a.m.:
- Lake Woodlands Drive: westbound from Lakeside Boulevard to Golden Sage Drive
- Lake Woodlands Drive: eastbound from Golden Sage Drive to Windward Cove
- Lake Woodlands will be closed eastbound from East Panther Creek to Lake Front Circle. Windward Cove residents will be able to access the neighborhood, but other traffic will be detoured to Woodlands Parkway.
- Lake Woodlands Bridge eastbound lanes will be closed from Lakeside Boulevard to Lake Front Circle.

According to information from the township, law enforcement will assist to ensure the safety of runners and spectators.
- Montgomery County Sheriff's Office will close and reopen streets.
- Deputy officers will be stationed at every intersection along the race route.
- Cars needing to pass through will be permitted when a safe opportunity arises.
- Drivers should allow extra time for traveling in race areas.
