The Woodlands Express offers shuttle service to rodeo Thursdays through Sundays plus spring break

The Woodlands Township’s Park and Ride service, The Woodlands Express, is again offering transportation to and from the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, according to a news release.

What you need to know

The service will be offered from the Sawdust Park and Ride, 701 Westridge Road, Spring, Thursdays through Sundays during the rodeo as well as during the week of spring break. Here is the weekly schedule:

• Feb. 22-Feb. 24

• Feb. 29-March 1: evening only
• March 2-3
• March 7-8: evening only
• March 9-10
• March 11-17

Reservations are required for the shuttle, and a round-trip ride is $13, but reservations are made as one-way tickets for each direction, according to the township website. Regular tickets with The Woodlands Express cannot be used for the rodeo shuttle.

Wristbands are needed to board the bus, and they are provided at the point of departure for those with valid tickets, according to the service website.
