The Woodlands Diversion is a new nonprofit performing arts organization in The Woodlands dedicated to enhancing the performance arts culture in the community.

According to a news release Oct. 10, the group will present immersive and diverse collaborative arts performances called “experiences.” The experiences feature a combination of art mediums, such as classical music and dance/movement, soundscapes and film, music interspersed with dramatic arts, and various forms of visual arts. The nonprofit does not have a brick-and-mortar location but is presenting its first performance at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.The Woodlands Diversion is celebrating its launch into the community with an inaugural experience called "Boheme," which will celebrate unique, artistic individuals who influenced art and history with music, dance and projection art.
