1. The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce’s 31st annual Taste of the Town event will take place Thursday at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center. 2. Carlo’s Bake Shop will open a kiosk on the first floor of The Woodlands Mall at 1201 Lake Robbins Drive, The Woodlands, on Feb. 18. The bakery, made famous by the television show, “Cake Boss,” will sell baked goods, including cupcakes, cookies and pastries.

Shenandoah City Council will have a workshop Wednesday at 6 p.m. to discuss crime in the area, modifications to sign ordinances for open house signs, a digital advertising partnership with The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion and Live Nation, and the replacement of community signs.
