Legacy Preparatory Christian Academy, located at 9768 Research Forest Drive, The Woodlands, started work on an expansion project. According to a news release from the school, the project includes the addition of a 30,000-square-foot academic building aimed to provide additional learning space and accommodate the continued growth of the school.
The new academic building is expected to include 21 classrooms, a multipurpose space, offices, workrooms, conference rooms and break areas. In addition, the expansion project is set to enhance fencing and security, improve traffic flow, update signage, expand parking and various additional beautification projects around the campus, according to the release.
“We are excited about the opportunity to grow our campus. With all that is going on in our country, parents want to be more involved with their child's education, and we are happy to be able to accommodate that trend through the addition of classroom space. Only God could successfully navigate an expansion like this during these difficult economic times, and we are thrilled that he is at work on our behalf,” Legacy Head Administrator Audra May said in the release.
Legacy Preparatory Christian Academy was founded in 2005 and serves students in pre-K through 12th grade. It is a Christian school with an enrollment of roughly 450 students. 936-337-2000. www.legacypca.org
