The Woodlands West Kumon location is undergoing an expansion that will double the occupancy of the facility. According to the owners, the expansion is expected to be completed in December.
The owners said business at the Kumon location has grown in the last few years and during the pandemic. Kumon is expecting to accommodate more students as the 10-year anniversary arrives.
"[Kumon is] one of the few businesses that was impacted in a good way," Contreras said.
Contreras attributes the facility's success to his wife, Hess, stating that she deserves the credit for Kumon's accomplishment.
