Village Books, a locally owned and independent bookseller, opened a brick-and-mortar shop located at 9955 Woodlands Parkway, Ste. F, The Woodlands, on Sept. 10.

The bookstore also sells gift items and gift certificates. Village Books is expected to host events and activities, including multilingual children’s story hours, author readings, classes and workshops, according to the owner, Teresa Kenney.

Prior to opening a physical location, Village Books was solely an online bookstore. Online shopping is still available. www.myvillagebooks.com
