Retail and industrial vacancies in The Woodlands area increased as of July 5 compared to the third quarter of the previous year, but vacancies in the office sector shrunk from 15.5% to 14.1% in the same time period. Seven office buildings were under construction in The Woodlands area and 17 retail buildings were under construction as of early July. No industrial buildings were under construction, compared to about 146,000 square feet in June.
