Child Advocates of Montgomery County on May 21 announced the official opening of a library to serve children in crisis across the county.

Child Advocates of Montgomery County is a nonprofit organization which states it provides justice, welfare and education advocacy, and resources for children who have been or are experiencing adverse situations. The library is sponsored by the Fitness Project, a Texas-based fitness group and gym, which aims to provide a "gateway to joy, comfort, and possibility for children in crisis," according to a news release.

The library is located within the agency's main office at 505 N. Main Street in Conroe, and it will feature a variety of book genres across multiple age groups.
