Located just north of Conroe, The Woodlands Hills is the newest master-planned community from The Woodlands Development Company and The Howard Hughes Corporation, which has also developed communities, such as The Woodlands and Bridgeland.

Officials from Howard Hughes hosted a tour of the neighborhood ahead of its grand opening in July. Builders are nearing completion on model homes in the area as lots begin to sell.

Homebuilders in The Woodlands Hills include Ravenna Homes, K. Hovnanian Homes, Century Communities, Gehan Homes, Chesmar Homes and Westin Homes. Prices for homes start at $230,000.

Heath Melton, vice president of master-planned communities for The Howard Hughes Corporation, said build-out in the community will likely not take place for another 10-15 years, and residents are expected to begin moving in to the area this fall. The Woodlands Hills will feature 20 neighborhoods parks, dedicated bike lanes, an amenities center and 112 acres of open space.
