A number of holiday activities are happening this weekend, Dec. 19-21, in The Woodlands area, including an ongoing opportunity to donate via the Giving Machines which runs through Jan. 3. This list is not comprehensive, and events are subject to change.

    Giving Machines

    The seasonal vending machines allow residents to donate to area nonprofits. The machines are part of The Church of Latter-day Saints’ “Light the World” initiative, according to a news release. The Woodlands machines opened on Dec. 17 and will be operational through Jan. 3.

    Holiday Jigsaw Puzzle Tournament

    Attendees will complete their own 100-piece puzzle. The first four to finish will move to the second round and complete a different 100-piece puzzle, and the final two will face off head-to-head with a third puzzle. This event is for ages 10 and older, and registration is required.

    Next Gen Christmas Camp

    The Woodlands Methodist Church is holding a Christmas camp featuring basketball and dancing activities for children from kindergarten through sixth grade. Registration includes a T-shirt, craft and Chick-fil-A lunch.
