Market Street is hosting a themed back-to-school photo opportunity from Aug. 7-13, including the weekend. It will be on display beneath the Market Street marquee.

Moonlight Paddle

Attendees can experience Lake Woodlands after dark on kayaks decorated with lights at this staff-led paddle. Kayaking experience is recommended but not required. Preregistration is required at Riva Row Boat House’s website.

Invasive species workshop

Attendees can learn how to identify and remove common invasive plant species in The Woodlands at this hands-on workshop. All participants will receive a free boxed lunch. Spots are limited and preregistration is required online.

Bike recycling

Residents can bring bicycles in any condition to The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Office. The bikes will be refurbished and donated, or recycled if they are beyond repair.


Summer Sillies Circus

The event will feature four Makin’ Magic with Maggie the Clown shows at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.
