Community pools will open in The Woodlands on May 24, and several Memorial Day events are planned this weekend, May 24-27, in The Woodlands area. This list is not comprehensive.

Visit a community pool

Beginning May 24, the 14 community pools in The Woodlands Township will be open for the season through Aug. 13. The regular season includes pools in the communities of Alden Bridge, Bear Branch, Cranebrook, Falconwing, Harper’s Landing, Ridgewood, Rob Fleming Aquatic Center, Sawmill, Wendtwoods and Windvale. The Falconwing pool opens May 30 due to renovations.Catch a live performance

The dance recital "Boni's 1980's Mixtape" will be held at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, celebrating 40 years for Boni's Dance and Performing Arts Studio.

Celebrate Memorial Day in The Woodlands

Celebrate Memorial Day in The Woodlands with a festival featuring live music, children's activities and strolling entertainment. The event will be concluded by a fireworks display choreographed to a patriotic soundtrack, and concessions will be available for purchase.Attend a community Memorial Day event


Forest Park, The Woodlands is hosting the 16th Annual Memorial Day “Tribute to Heroes and Freedom.” The free community event will include a presentation of the colors by The Woodlands Fire Department; a wreath ceremony; patriotic music; and a guest speaker, Marine Corps veteran Chris Sadler of Honor Cafe. Food catered by Honor Cafe will be available following the ceremony at no charge.
