Run for office

The last day to file for a place on the general election ballot for The Woodlands Township board of directors in the Nov. 8 election is Aug. 22 at 5 p.m. Positions 1, 2, 3 and 4 are up for election. Candidates must be 18 years of age as of Nov. 8, have been a resident of The Woodlands for the past six months and a resident of Texas for at least a year. Candidates must be a U.S. citizen.
