Looking for things to do around The Woodlands area this weekend? Here are three events to check out.

Feb. 18: Glow in the Park

Participants in the nighttime climb can experience a nighttime adventure at Texas TreeVentures when lights illuminate the adventure course. 7-10 p.m. $60. Texas TreeVentures, 6464 Creekside Forest Drive, The Woodlands. 218-210-2048. www.texastreeventures.com

Feb. 19: Run in the Muddy Trails 5K

The Muddy Trails 5K will take place at Rob Fleming Park. The race is a sanctioned 5K event produced by The Woodlands Township, winding through the George Mitchell Nature Preserve. The event ends with a post race party featuring live zydeco music and the Muddy Bowl Crawfish Cook-Off. 3 p.m. $35. Feb. 19: Support a local nonprofit

Participants are invited to celebrate literacy with Children’s Books on Wheels. The event will feature live performances from Ray Parsee AllStar Review and Two Black Men, and dancing is encouraged. 8-11:30 p.m. $50.
