Feb. 6: A Valentine's Day market featuring several local vendors is hosted by Creekside Park's Lovebeans Coffeehouse in advance of the holiday. Feb. 6: Springwoods Village hosts Love Stinks: A Valentine's Day Dog Festival at CityPlace Plaza. The PawzUp DogFest event from pet professionals Jill Garrett and Tiffanie Wilkerson features a range of vendors offering pet-related products, food and drinks for guests, live music, photo opportunities and rescues available for future adoption. Guests are asked to wear masks and observe social distancing guidelines, and dogs must be leashed and vaccinated. 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Free. CityPlace Plaza, 1250 Lake Plaza Drive, Spring.

Feb. 11-14: Several days of dining, music and dancing are offered at the Glade Arts Foundation's Over the Moon for You series of celebrations leading up to Valentine's Day. Three-course dinners from chef Nelson Padron are offered at each night's event, with music from pianist Alex Navarro and singer Leslie Spencer scheduled for Feb. 11 and 13 and pianist and vocalist Jeremy Joseph performing Feb. 12 and 14. Feb. 12: Children can participate in at-home Valentine's Day crafting activities through Harris County Precinct 4's To the Moon and Back dive-thru event. Participants may visit the Big Stone Lodge to pick up a snack and crafting kit to bring back home. Registration is required by Feb. 11. 2:30-3:30 p.m. Free. Feb. 13: The Divisi Strings classical quartet arrives at Market Street for a Valentine's Day-themed concert by candlelight. The musical performance at the shopping center's Central Park can be enjoyed by guests at any of Market Street's surrounding restaurant patios or from socially distanced circles on the park's lawn. Through Feb. 14: Texas Thai restaurant chain Thai Cottage is offering one year of free Thai food to the winner of its Valentine's Day contest. Couples interested can like the restaurant's Facebook page and share a secret of their happy relationship in the contest's comments section. The couple with the most likes on their comment wins 12 gift vouchers valued at $30 each.
