Japanese steakhouse and hibachi grill Sakekawa celebrated 20 years of service in September and the company will celebrate 10 years at its Research Forest location in October, staff members confirmed. The Research Forest location opened in October 2014 following the success of the restaurant's first location along Woodlands Parkway, officials said.
Jessica joined Community Impact in 2022 as a reporter covering The Woodlands greater area. She now covers countywide government issues for Montgomery County as well as the cities of Humble, Oak Ridge North and Shenandoah, and The Woodlands Township.
