Nautical Bowls The Woodlands, 4849 FM 1488, Ste. 1200, held a grand opening event for its first location in Montgomery County on May 27. Local owners Bibi and Layi Ajayi said in a news release June 8 that what began as a personal quest to discover healthy, nutritious meals for their family has evolved into a broader mission to promote a healthy lifestyle within their community.

“We’re super excited to bring Nautical Bowls to The Woodlands and surrounding communities,” they said in the release. “For us, this is more than a business. It meets an important need and that of many others in our community. As parents, we’re often conflicted between feeding our kids healthy meals and going for easier unhealthy ‘fast-food’ options. When we discovered Nautical Bowls, we realized it was an opportunity to be aligned with several of our values and our obligation as parents.”

Nautical Bowls serves superfood bowls that are gluten-, dairy- and soy-free made with organic, all-natural ingredients. The menu includes acai, pitaya and blue majik bases with toppings that range from fruit, seeds and honey to granola, coconut butter crumbles and almond butter.
