Officials said progress is continuing on pace for the $250 million expansion of Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital, which broke ground Sept. 27, 2019. Work on an 800-space parking garage will be completed in fall 2021. The new patient tower was topped out this fall, hospital officials said. When it opens in the first quarter of 2022, the tower will feature 100 beds, 10 new operating rooms, and expansions to the diagnostic imaging department and the endoscopy, heart and emergency centers.
